About the FIA Smart Driving Challenge

The FIA Smart Driving Challenge (FIA SDC) is the world’s only challenge that unites all road users to reduce climate impact and increase safety on the roads. The FIA SDC uses AI technology to analyze driving in terms of risk level and climate impact. Just by making motorists aware of their impact we can inspire positive change.

The challenge consists of seven monthly heats, each lasting one calendar month. The season ends with Playoffs, where the top 20 drivers compete for the final two spots in a live head-to-head Grand Finale. Outside of the heats, drivers can still use the app for insights and feedback on all trips.

Any driver in any vehicle in any part of the world can join the FIA SDC.
